Desdemona struggles through mental issues all her life that she eventually drowns with drinking and sex. Finally after she reaches the bottom of the barrel, she pulls herself up and runs down the narrow path towards a decent life, but those mental issues that she thought were mostly hallucinations, burn in the back of her mind.

After her mother’s death, those visions rise to the top and she soon discovers that the visions are real and always have been. The apparitions persuade her that she has to come to their world, that she is in grave danger.  She learns there is a dark force after what she possesses.  Almost too late, she will discover the secrets of the dark force and the possession they are willing to kill for.

I highly enjoyed reading this Willows of Fate (The Lands of Sun and Stone Series Book 1) with its unique characters and its magnetizing twists and turns.  When reading a story, my first attraction is if the author’s words will pull me into a movie where I see pictures instead of black words on a white page.  That is exactly what the author, Suzanna J. Linton has done for me.  Now I crave for a sequel to find out what has happened to Desdemona.

I recommend this book for anyone who wants to escape reality and jump into a world of action, romance, and betrayal.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and Happy Easter!!!  img_0427-1

Looking forward to this weekend myself.  Itching and can’t sit still because I wanna jump head-first into my writing.

That’s right!  I finally busted through that horrible block!  Geez, I mean it was really bad!  Overtime I sat down at the laptop, I just stared at the page and the scene where I left off.  Nothing, I mean absolutely nothing would come to my brain or flow out of me.

I didn’t give up though and finally the ideas overflowed.

Maya and Bri’s adventure is coming along and unexpected events are happening that I never knew before hand.  They are straying off the outline path! Giggles.

Pretty soon I will post some excerpts to get opinions AND suggestions.  Still working on book reviews as well.

BREAK IS OVER!

Well finally I am going to get out of my slump.  Yea, my long period of a massive block, stifling the juices of my creativity.  House is done, well as much as we can do for right now, desk has been completed, and my own writing space has finally been born.

So there are no more excuses and its now time to sit down, flush out the block, and just write.

So onward I go…

Lazy Sunday!

Happy Sunday morning to you all!  Looking forward to a lazy Sunday with coffee, comfy pajamas, and a steaming hot cup of coffee.  My only dilemma is to decide if I want to curl up with a good book or break out the laptop and let Maya and Bri take control of my fingers again.  They are anxious to get their story out so most likely they possess me and take over.  Giggles.

Happy Sunday Morning!  Hope you all are getting to enjoy a hot cup of coffee and a good book.  There is nothing more wonderful then being curled up on the couch with the warm taste of java and a gateway to another world!  Other than being lazy today, I hope to do nothing other than reading and writing!  Have a GREAT day!

until Christmas!  Has everyone gotten their shopping done?  For the most part, I have.  There is just a couple little small things I wanna get.

Its a cloudy rainy day here and I am feeling the writing itch.  Wasn’t able to get any done while out of town this past weekend.  It is so hard to find quiet time to focus on my characters that whisper in my head.

But Maya and Bri have literally been screaming at me over the weekend.  The only relief I will be able to find is to make time.  Cease all distractions and give the angels and demons some attention.

Rainy Sunday

Woke up early on this rainy day, my head filled with thoughts of everyone else that I care about and the troubles they are facing.  Everyone is facing so much stress, drama, and even pain.

Their pain adds to my own and the only thing that brings me peace, is the freedom to write.  To sit on my patio in the quiet rain with a steaming cup of coffee where my thoughts can calm down and flow through my fingertips.

I need this everyday.  I want this everyday.  It’s the only way I can make it through the day.

Yes, its my passion and I write for ME.  Don’t get me wrong, I dream of writing for the world, but if I never get to that level, it is alright, because I write for me.

So, I was able to get some writing done yesterday on my current WIP and the muse opened the dam!  It felt so good and made me feel so alive!

I am hoping to get that feeling again this morning!
