BREAK IS OVER!
Well finally I am going to get out of my slump. Yea, my long period of a massive block, stifling the juices of my creativity. House is done, well as much as we can do for right now, desk has been completed, and my own writing space has finally been born.
So there are no more excuses and its now time to sit down, flush out the block, and just write.
So onward I go…
New Orleans Experience – Day Four
Well unfortunately, this day was not exciting! I spent the day in the bed sniffling, sneezing, and coughing. Yep! I caught a cold while on vacation. It sucks!
So while I was doped up on NyQuil and binging on Netflix, the hubby got me meds and breakfast before he took off to go see the Veterans Memorial and Museum. He had a great time! I know my hubby enjoys history just as much as I do, even though we are attracted to different genres of history.
Afterwards he came back and hung out with Netflix and me. My big teddy bear had a pizza delivered and we ate in the bed. I love my man!
Lazy Sunday!
Happy Sunday morning to you all! Looking forward to a lazy Sunday with coffee, comfy pajamas, and a steaming hot cup of coffee. My only dilemma is to decide if I want to curl up with a good book or break out the laptop and let Maya and Bri take control of my fingers again. They are anxious to get their story out so most likely they possess me and take over. Giggles.

There is nothing more wonderful then being curled up on the couch with the warm taste of java and a gateway to another world! until Christmas! Has everyone gotten their shopping done? For the most part, I have. There is just a couple little small things I wanna get.
Its a cloudy rainy day here and I am feeling the writing itch. Wasn’t able to get any done while out of town this past weekend. It is so hard to find quiet time to focus on my characters that whisper in my head.
But Maya and Bri have literally been screaming at me over the weekend. The only relief I will be able to find is to make time. Cease all distractions and give the angels and demons some attention.

Banana Coconut Upside Cake
Banana Coconut Upsidedown Cake! – Easy as it looks, and as tasty
In a Bowl – Yellow Cake Mix, Eggs, Oil, Water, and Sour Cream
In a Sauce Pan – Melt Butter, Brown Sugar, and Lemon Juice.
Layer sliced Bananas on the bottom of a pan, pour the Butter Mixture, sprinkle the Coconut, then pour the Cake Mix on top of that. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Flip over, Slice, and Serve

Rainy Sunday
Woke up early on this rainy day, my head filled with thoughts of everyone else that I care about and the troubles they are facing. Everyone is facing so much stress, drama, and even pain.
Their pain adds to my own and the only thing that brings me peace, is the freedom to write. To sit on my patio in the quiet rain with a steaming cup of coffee where my thoughts can calm down and flow through my fingertips.
I need this everyday. I want this everyday. It’s the only way I can make it through the day.
Yes, its my passion and I write for ME. Don’t get me wrong, I dream of writing for the world, but if I never get to that level, it is alright, because I write for me.
So, I was able to get some writing done yesterday on my current WIP and the muse opened the dam! It felt so good and made me feel so alive!
I am hoping to get that feeling again this morning!
